In the event of total loss due to any accident, the insurers will pay the Insured Declared Value (IDV) of your two wheeler, which is the current market value of the vehicle after deducting depreciation. RTI covers this gap between the invoice price of your vehicle and the IDV, including registration and taxes, allowing you to get the entire purchase value as the claim amount.
This cover enables you to avail roadside assistance for your bike during an emergency. Most insurers offer an array of services under this cover like tyre changes, on-site minor repairs, battery jump-start, towing, lost key assistance, and fuel arrangement amongst others.
Under this benefit, your insurer will provide you with a daily cash to compensate your daily travel expenses while your insured vehicle is under repairs at one of its network garages.
This cover enables you to receive an allowance from your insurance provider to get your helmet repaired or replaced in case it was partially or totally damaged in an accident. In case of replacement, the new helmet should be of the same model and type.
Through this add-on your insurer will pay for the EMIs of your insured vehicle while it is getting repaired at a network garage following an accident.
The insurer will reimburse the costs of replacing / repairing consumable items through this add-on, which is otherwise not covered in a standard bike insurance plan. The covered consumables include screw, nuts/bolts, washers, bearings, clip, engine oil, gearbox oil, brake oil, grease, lubricants, distilled water, and such other consumables, excluding fuel.
